About us

NyayaBhoomi was founded in October 2002 as an NGO. It was formally registered on 22.09.2003 in Delhi under Societies Registration Act, 1860 under reg. no. S/47043.

We are committed to the goal of transforming India into one of the most prosperous and culturally the richest nation on earth by 2040 - a nation built on values, justice, and respect for human dignity, and one that the whole world looks to for inspiration and leadership. It is a formidable but achievable vision.

"Public Transport System" and "Government Accountability" are our two focus areas.

Presently, by dint of our work for them, we enjoy the support and goodwill of the majority of 1,00,000 autorickshaw drivers of Delhi.

Our expenses are funded by annual membership fee. Gaps in finances are met by contribution from the core group.

 The list below does not include three Governing Body members, namely, Vinod Kumar Taneja (Treasurer), Raman Kumar Garg, and Amanpreet Singh. They are the silent members who deliberate upon key policy issues in the meetings of the Governing Body.

Works for an I.T. firm in Noida. Passionate about efficient traffic and public transport system.

Member
A former autorickshaw driver. Headed a trade union. First port of call for all autorickshaw drivers needing help.
Shweta Gosain
HRD
Works for HCL. Trains member-drivers of Autorickshaw Star Club and is responsible for all aspects of HR.

Secretary
Works full time for the organization. Responsible for all projects, functions and overall performance.

Member
A former autorickshaw driver and a great influence among auto drivers. Helps auto drivers with procedures.
Naushad Ansari
Logistics
A full time volunteer, Naushad is responsible for purchases, making of uniforms, logistics and a bit of development.
