We brought ourselves under the RTI Act, 2005
With effect from 15.08.08, we have volunteered to be bound by the RTI Act, 2005. This makes us the only non-funded NGO that has happily embraced the RTI Act and declared itself a "Public Organization". Advertisements to fund social security of drivers
MCD is in the process of inviting a tender to put up advertisements on the back of our member-autorickshaws. Half of the revenue thus generated will come to us which will be invested into social security benefits for auto drivers.

The book is a handbook of law, procedures for auto drivers and tells them about their rights and duties, how to avoid touts and loan mafia and how to become good citizens.
Who are we
Founded in 2002, NyayaBhoomi is a fiercely independent grassroots NGO. Impatient about seeking a responsive and accountable system of governance, we roll up our sleeves and hit at the base of corruption, nepotism & file-pushing culture.

We plan to develop this site into India's first portal on social and national issues, incorporating features such as Forums, Blogs, Networking, Wikis, Events, Profiles, etc. Powerful but easy-to-use portal will facilitate meaningful ground activities too.
Funding
In order to preserve our independence, we do not take any government or institutional funds. Contributions from private sources are welcome. At present, 95% of funding requirements are met by the President, Secretary and other volunteers. In future, our projects should generate sufficient revenues to sustain all our activities.
